About me

I'm Jude Bigboy, also known as cobaltJude online. As my landing page says, I'm a printmaker and programmer from Philadelphia, PA. I am currently studying at RISD for my BFA in Printmaking, with a concentration in Computation, Technology, and Culture.

My art primarily focuses on the relationship between analog and digital media - which I like to describe not as a perfect marriage, but rather a messy divorce. Sometimes the pieces work together perfectly, but sometimes they're only staying together for the kids.

My illustration work is mostly character based, revolving around the stories I'd like to tell about technology and the way it affects people.

In my spare time, I like to play video games, read, watch movies, and study whatever has piqued my interest that week. I love live music and a good rum and coke.
